How should I got about shopping with a middle schooler?

A lady at my church is giving me money to take her neighbor shopping. This girl does not dress well ans wears skin tight clothes and shes heavy set. The lady knows that I love clothes and thinks I dress well and that I can still dress good and be big. The girl wears like shes from the ghetto and I've lived in the ghetto all my life and I never dress like that. She wants to be black and ghetto and I'm like you can't be me (black not ghetto) be yourself. But i don't know what I should do.

just get her some good/nice clothes that will complement her body type and make sure she is comfortable in them too, because if she doesn't like them she isn't gonna wear them

look kids in middle school like to fit in yet stand out. maybe get some stretchy jeans or some smaller hoops and thing that will make her feel pretty with without looking trashy.
This young girl may not know how good she can look in nice clothes. Take her to the store on the condition that you get to put together the first outfit. Once she sees how good she looks, she'll probably realize she doesn't need to dress the way she does.
