Review of UAE Book by Lonely Planet

Of the seven books I’ve lately buy prior to my trip to the UAE, Oman, Quatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this was by far the best reference book. The maps are not a imagination as in galore other books, but the B&W maps they had were the most useful. The tourist guide provided was also the best of the books. I highly commend it!

I would love to see a Kindle version as well!

I purchased this book because I’m moving to Kuwait and plan to travel to galore of the included countries for the duration of my time off. They even have a special division for expats and very utile cultural/religious background information. The countries contained are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen. I only wish they had a version for Kindle!

Qatar is a great place for holidays if you intend to spend a few days. It is well known for the civilian settlements from the ancient days.
