My daughter is 5 months old and loves this book. She laughs and babbles at it and turns the pages and attempts to move all the peek a boo objects such as the scarf and the raincoat all on her own… It actually inspires her to reach and move the pages, very interactional for her.. My only complaint is like the other review said it seems that the pieces are not all that secure and due to that I would not leave her unsupervised with this book, then again with all the recalls I watch her while she plays with all toys.. I also think she gets more out of it when I sit and read it with her… Another downfall, as with closely all soft books, (especially those with moving constituents and textures), it is surface wash only.. If you wash it, it will most likely fall apart..All and all we LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!! I would have given it 5 stars if the construction was a bit better

My 5 month old got this soft baby book for the holidays from Grandma. While she loves gripping the book and chewing on the edges of the soft pages, pieces of it started out falling off after one wash. There are a heap of parts sewn on poorly so now there are strings hanging off of it left and right – just 2 weeks after receiving it. We have to pull off loose pieces and cut the string so they don’t get caught in her mouth or throat. Good concept, but just poorly made and designed. Not recommended.
